A project which reflects a trend towards more site-specific champagnes and brings together the expertise and traditions of two prestigious wine regions, Valentin Leflaive offers a unique interpretation of the region’s terroirs.
Each cuvée has a special code on the label; the letters refer to the terroir while the numbers indicate the year of the base wine and the dosage. For example, in the Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs CV1830, ‘CV’ stands for Cramant and Vertus, ‘18’ is the year of the base wine and ‘30’ refers to 3.0g of sugar per litre. Champagne aficionados will love these champagnes.
