Ten Minutes by Tractor is a highly regarded estate in the cool Mornington Peninsula of Victoria, Australia. Under the skilful direction of Martin Spedding, the property has achieved cult status. Their single vineyard Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines come from the highest performing blocks in the Judd, McCutcheon and Wallis vineyards in the Northern Peninsula. Great attention to detail including harvesting from carefully selected parcels, by an expert in-house team, produces wines of incredible complexity and finesse. Martin believes that ‘provenance is the essential element’ in all his wines and this comes across clearly in these cuvées, each one a unique expression of its terroir. Only produced in the best vintages, these exceptional cool climate wines challenge Burgundy in terms of elegance and sophistication.
Moderate temperatures, a slow ripening and a lower-than-average yield resulted in wines with great freshness and concentration in 2021. Refined, complex and multi-dimensional, they are an outstanding example of what can be achieved from stunning vineyards in the right hands. Available for immediate delivery, while stocks last.

‘From the lower Coolart Vineyard comes this more generous and flavorsome 2021 Pinot Noir expression with layers of raspberry compote, damp earth, touches of fennel seed and a firm but balanced influence of French oak. Seductive earthy tones follow, with a strong dose of baked cherry backed by a gentle bite of tannins. It’s approachable now but has plenty of staying power over the medium term.’ 92 points, Vinous.
