2018 Château La Gorce Cru Bourgeois
‘Very serious, concentrated, ambitious’

A charming property in the Médoc north of Saint-Estèphe, Château La Gorce has been a Cru Bourgeois since the 1932 classification. Located near the Gironde estuary, the estate is a single vineyard of clay-limestone soils stretching over a south and west facing knoll. One of a trilogy of great vintages, 2018 is a classic drinking Bordeaux.
The 2018 showed brilliantly when we visited the property a few weeks ago. Jancis Robinson describes it as serious and concentrated with ‘grip and flavour in abundance.’ Scoring an impressive 16.5 points, La Gorce offers terrific value for money in our opinion. Wonderful for drinking now, the 2018 has the potential for another ten years in the cellar.
Available for immediate delivery, we’re offering the 2018 at just £120 per 12 bottles in bond. A limited number of magnums are available on a first come first served basis at only £125 per case of 6 for delivery this Autumn.
Please contact us as soon as possible to secure your order.
