Established in 1854, Bedrock is one of the most celebrated properties in Sonoma. Morgan Twain-Peterson MW and his father Joel bought the estate in 2005 and renamed it Bedrock. Amongst the best winemakers of their region, they are passionate about old vines and wines which express the nuances of each vineyard site.
Antonio Galloni described the 2018 wines as ‘mind-blowingly profound’ while the 2019s are ‘dazzling’, the reds showing wonderful aromatic complexity and terrific energy. We are delighted to offer you a ‘dazzling’ 2018 Pato Heritage and a ‘total knock-out’ of a wine, the 2019 Evangelho Heritage, both available for immediate delivery. The recently released and ‘positively stellar’ 2019 Nervo Heritage is offered en primeur and will be shipped in a few months.

‘The 2019 Evangelho Heritage Wine is a total knock-out. The later than normal harvest yielded a wine with a bit more mid-palate juiciness than is typically the case. Dark red/purplish fruit, along with hints of cinnamon and new leather, develop with time in the glass. The Evangelho is a blend of the Zinfandel, Mataro and Carignan-based field blends, with the Mataro quite prominent today, and the Carignane less so. In a word: superb’ 95 points, Antonio Galloni

‘A powerful, explosive wine, the 2019 Nervo Heritage Wine possesses tremendous energy right out of the gate. Crushed flowers, mint and spice lend striking aromatic nuance.
