Celebrating 200 Years of Champagne Joseph Perrier

Celebrating 200 years of excellence, the house of Joseph Perrier—a Grande Marque Champagne founded in 1825—has embraced a bold new chapter. Over the past year, it has unveiled a prestigious rebrand and a transformed cellar, blending heritage with modern refinement. Led by sixth-generation steward Benjamin Fourmon and trailblazing head winemaker Nathalie Laplaige, this revered family-owned house continues to set the bar for quality and craftsmanship. With a rare hands-on approach more akin to a récoltant-manipulant, Joseph Perrier maintains a low production while proudly cultivating 30% estate-grown grapes. The result? A Champagne house that masterfully balances prestige with authenticity, offering an unparalleled expression of terroir.

Joseph Perrier Cuvée 200 Extra Brut – A Grand Tribute
This exceptional release is a blend of 50% Pinot Noir (Grand Cru Ambonnay) and 50% Chardonnay (Premier Cru Cumières & Grand Cru Chouilly), aged 96 months with just 3g dosage. Crafted from the 2015 vintage, this Champagne embodies elegance, depth, and refinement. The intention was to create a cuvée that would provide perfect drinking in 2025 to celebrate the anniversary, whilst harnessing the opulence of the vintage and showing the complexity that comes with 96mths on lees.

Le Ciergelot Brut Nature Vintage 2020
A Single Vineyard Masterpiece
A true terroir-driven Champagne, this 100% Meunier Brut Nature is sourced from a tiny, single vineyard plot (ZD214) planted in 1968 in Verneuil on the right bank of the Marne river. After years of meticulous trials (2017-2020), this vineyard was chosen to express the very soul of Joseph Perrier’s heritage. An ultra-rare single vineyard expression of Meunier crafted to showcase one of the key components of Cuvée Royale Brut, this is a superb counterpart to La Côte à Bras cuvée (100% Chardonnay from Cumières) and a rare opportunity to discover 100% Meunier from a top producer.
