The story of Roc d'Opale started in 2005, when two friends, passionate about the wines of the Languedoc, decided to join forces and create wines that would be true expressions of the region. These three entry point wines capture the spirit of Languedoc and are ideal as house wines. Both white and red grapes are harvested at night to retain the utmost freshness. The white is made predominantly of Grenache Blanc and Sauvignon with a touch of Chardonnay; it has lots of fruit on the nose, with grapefruit and hints of spice. The Red is Grenache and Merlot, a lovely blend with the hedgerow fruit combining with fresh damson and chocolate. The Rosé is stunning value, easy drinking and packed full of soft, ripe fruit.
