The Negociant Eleveur Maison Hecht & Bannier, dedicated to Mediterranean wines, started in 2002. Following visits to hundreds of domains, days and nights of heated conversations and careful analysis of their blends, Gregory Hecht and François Bannier bottled their first efforts at the end of 2003 which were four cuvées of Southern France appellations. Minervois, Saint Chinian, Faugères and Côtes du Roussillon. Hecht & Bannier represent true quality in the diverse appellations of Roussillon, Languedoc and Provence.

Their mantra for all the appellations they produce is "to conserve the typical Mediterranean strength in our wines while preserving balance and crispness." Their core principles remain unchanged; blending the fruit of several growers within an appellation, long ageing, relentless work on blends allows them to offer - under a single brand - the quintessential expression of each Appellation d`Origine Protégée.
