Owned by Roger Zannier, Château Saint-Maur is one of the finest properties in Provence. A few kilometres from Saint-Tropez, Saint-Maur is one of only eighteen estates that have been awarded Cru Classé status in the region. Warm summer days, moderated by cooling breezes from the nearby coast and mountains, along with an excellent terroir, are ideal for producing elegant Provencal rosés. Our range consists of the M by Saint-Maur, L`Excellence and Clos de Capelune.

The M by Saint-Maur rosé is composed of Grenache and Cinsault with a small amount of Syrah, sourced from the estate and local growers. The wine undergoes a short cold maceration with fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The result is a vibrant wine bursting with cranberries and delicate orange blossom notes. The Blanc is 95% Rolle with 5% Clairette. A delicious aperitif, aromatic citrus and exotic stone fruit aromas lead to a lively palate with a mouthwatering finish.

L`Excellence Rosé is the flagship of the estate. Produced from clay-limestone soils rich in schist and quartz, this very elegant rosé is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvèdre and Rolle. Vinified at low temperature with a cold maceration, it has a bouquet of wild citrus and stone fruits. A very elegant and beautifully refreshing palate leads to a long mineral finish.

The Clos de Capelune vineyard, on the heights of Collobrières, overlooks the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. At 449m of altitude, these are the highest vines in the Côtes de Provence appellation. Clay-limestone soils are mixed with schist and quartz. The grapes are harvested by hand at night to preserve their freshness and then meticulously sorted. The rosé is a subtle blend of Syrah, Cinsault, Grenache and Rolle. Very elegant and complex with layers of delicate red berry fruits on the palate and a refined mineral note, this is a wine to be enjoyed with food. The white is 100% Rolle and is matured in oak barrels. An enveloping bouquet of stone fruits, honeysuckle and white peaches, enhanced by a subtle toasted note, leads to a beautifully refreshing and elegant palate.
