Ten Minutes by Tractor started in 1997 with three vineyards in Main Ridge, all ten minutes by tractor apart. Since then, Martin and Karen Spedding have added four more vineyards that have a diverse range of microclimates from across the Mornington Peninsula. All the vineyards have their own unique character with different aspects, slopes, soils, altitude and cool ocean breezes which flow through the valleys from Bass Strait, Western Port and Port Phillip, direct from Antarctica.

Under the expert guidance of winemaker Imogen Dillon, the terroir, cool climate of Mornington Peninsula and distinct sense of place is expressed in each of their wines. The release of the 2021 Single Vineyard wines shows a commitment to quality and an individual expression of place. These highly acclaimed wines are excellent examples of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and a testament to Imogen’s talent, experience, and affinity to these varieties and the land they are cultivated in.
