Based in Verdigny, Domaine Thomas et Fils farm 15 hectares of vines. The Domaine is run by Julien Thomas and his partner Justine. Julien took over from his father Jean Thomas in 2005 and represents the 13th generation at the Domaine. After several years at the helm, he has taken the wines to another level with the aim to be as pure as possible, not least achieving organic certification in 2020.

They were among the first producers in Sancerre to receive organic certification, and they are the only producers in Verdigny to have fully converted to organic. In fact, they are in the process of converting to biodynamic and they hope 2023 will be their first fully biodynamic vintage.

Sancerre Le Pierrier is bright and pure with great minerality from limestone soils, a faultless easy drinking Sancerre.
