Since the beginning of 2022 Bernard Fouquet a leading light of the Vouvray appellation has been passing on his extensive knowledge and advice to Charles Lesaffre who has taken over at the domaine. Charles’ grandfather used to own the domaine so he is returning to his ancestoral home. Together they vinify nearly 30 hectares of Chenin carefully separating the grapes that grow on the argilo-calcaire limestone from those on the flintier slopes of the arrières côtes.
