An exciting addition to our range, Domaine Berthelemot is a family business started by Brigitte Berthelemot in 2006. Her son, Thomas, runs the domaine these days. Their vines cover 15 hectares across the Côte de Beaune including Meursault, Puligny Montrachet, Pommard and Beaune. Certified organic since 2021, Thomas is moving towards biodynamic viticulture as he believes this is best for the environment and captures the essence of each terroir. The results are impressive; the wines show magnificent tension and complexity. As with other growers, Thomas feared that the generous crop would prevent full ripening in 2023. All that changed with the heatwave at the beginning of September. They started harvesting 5th September. Comparing the wines to 2020, Thomas thought that 2023 was more refined for both reds and whites.
