In the cellar, winemaker Scott Jones seeks to let the vineyard express itself, gently pressing the grapes into fermentation tanks. After several days of fermentation, the wine is gently racked gently racked into a combination of American and French oak for malolactic fermentation and aging. The Gnarly Head team has since expanded the range to include many other wines, all sourced from some of the best vineyards in California. Bancroft`s selection includes an Unoaked Viognier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Despite the variety, all wines are marked by the signature Gnarly house style which is big, juicy and deliciously drinkable.
