Domaine Guy Allion
- France Loire
Current owner-winemaker Cédric is at least the fourth generation of Allions to farm this property, but it was only in 1968 that his father Guy converted the land from mixed use farming to vineyards. Cédric followed in his father's footsteps - in fact, going even further and studying viticulture and oenology at the Lycée de Beaune. Cédric assumed the running of the estate in 1990, where he produces really quintessential, well made reds, whites and Crémant from this medium sized domaine; the Crémant is a particularly memorable blend of Chenin (80%) and Chardonnay (20%).
