Recently he also launched the Experimental range, which allows him to explore different winemaking methods such as extended skin contact and whole-bunch fermentation in limited-quantity cuvees. Although they cover a number of regions in Spain, Rafael`s wines are all marked by a sense of regional authenticity, varietal character, and drinkability. He continues to search for unique terroirs across to craft new wines, and whether it is uncovering an obscure varietal and region, like the El Becario Rufete from Sierra de Salamanca, or crafting something special from a classic region, such as the organic Lo Patinet from Montsant, we plan to be with him every step of the way. We simply cannot wait to see what he comes up with next.
