Sauvignon Blanc, Hartenberg Wine Estate 2018
This is a rare Sauvignon Blanc, grown at 350 meters above sea levels on deep clay loam soils. The grapes are hand-picked at daybreak to ensure flavour intensity. The wine enjoys six months of extended lees contact and weekly bâtonnage. Bright lemon in appearance, the Hardenberg Sauvignon Blanc is a bouquet of fresh tropical flavours, green nettle and chalky notes. The palate is fresh with touches of citrus and flint, yet a creamy, succulent sensation flows through the mid-palate. There is a gently, zesty finish to this wine.
