Sancerre Harmonie, Pinard 2019

Light lemon colour and very fleshy texture for Sauvignon Blanc. A touch of florality mingles with a trace of guava and not quite mango along with lemon sherbet and fresh Italian lemon and granny smith apple – still very youthful.There is a gentle element of oak but it is subtle to be almost hidden. Wow, such tension – a beautiful attack but complete precision all the way through and Harmonie is a lovely wine of discrete, detailed elements. All the characters of the nose come through and are chiming in unison but are also there to be discerned. Serious wine and with a superb structure for a white – very promising
