Pinot Noir Rosé, Lyme Bay 2019
A refined and elegant rosé with subtle notes of red berry fruit and a soft creamy finish on the palate. Pale, salmon pink in colour with notes of cranberry, rosehips, and wild strawberries on the nose.
You’d expect a significant crunch but the delicate creaminess betrays a partial malolactic fermentation that softens the wine out into a lovely textural mouthful. Not rich, but definitely powerful. Serious rosé to challenge the best pink Sancerre.
