Muscadet Gras Moutons, Domaine Haute Févrie 2018
Sebastien Branger winemaker describes Les “Gras Moutons” as a cuvée made from a plot of land located on the slopes of Maine in Saint-Fiacre. These 7 hectares of vines are planted on an amphibolite vein (metamorphic rock of greenish blue colour). This exemplary Muscadet is organically certified and harvested by hand combining aromas of citrus and white flowers, with just-perceptible spritz and a long, distinctly saline finish, redolent of the nearby Atlantic.
