Meth`Imon “L” Limniona, Dougos Winery 2018
This is a 100% Limniona from Dougos, which is a rare red variety, indigenous to the Thessaly region. This wine shows very bright and lifted aromatics of wild blueberry, red currant and red plum fruit, underpinned by fragrant rose and violet notes and just a slight herbal lift. Vivacious and pure on the palate with very crunchy and pure red fruit and fantastic lively acidity. The tannins are textured but supple. Just utterly gorgeous.
