Château-Thébaud Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine, Jérémie Huchet 2013
Les Bêtes Curieuses is a joint project between two of our most exciting winemakers, Jérémie Huchet and Jérémie Mourat. From an exceptional plot of 40 to 85 year old Melon de Bourgogne vines, the wine undergoes long slow fermentation with indigenous yeasts, followed by 60 months ageing on lees prior to bottling. This is a wine with immense complexity, built to last 10 to 20 years. A very complex nose combining fresh fruit and minerality. The palate is rich with honeyed, dried fruits and a long mineral finish.
