About the Wines
Les Acacias Sauvignon Blanc, Domaine Guy Allion 2018
Loire, France
Fruit for this Sauvignon Blanc is picked at night to ensure optimal freshness. Clear and bright robe with a beautiful pale yellow colour with green glints. On the nose, the wine exalts pronounced aromas of citrus fruits and white flowers characteristic of this grape, such as elderflower, as well as notes of boxwoods. On the palate, the wine is supple and well balanced with a certain raciness. Great length on the palate, and nicely balanced on a fresher style of the Sauvignon Blanc.
Garnatxa Blanca, Herència Altés 2019
Terra Alta, Spain
This Garnatxa Blanca is fresh on the palate with a penetrating freshness lifting the ripe peach, apricot and orchid notes. The wine spends two months on fine lees to gain texture and complexity which add an appealing, creamy texture to the mid-palate.
Chardonnay Turitelles, Domaine d`Altugnac 2018
Languedoc-Roussillon, France
A joy to drink, the Chardonnay Turitelles from Domaine d’Altugnac embodies all that is exciting about Limoux – quality, individuality and value. It bursts with white floral aromatics and a touch of citrus on the palate, followed by a concentrated and lingering finish.
Finca La Linda Malbec, Bodega Luigi Bosca 2019
Mendoza, Argentina
From Luján de Cuyo Commune, 15 km south of Mendoza city. 960 m above sea-level, on the eastern slope of the foothills. Argentina’s trademark grape variety, although originally known in South of France especially for Cahors. Characteristically intense red colour and aromas of cherries, aged in French oak for 3 months. Great structure, fine and approachable, great with a steak.
Château Mazetier, Côtes de Bordeaux 2018
Bordeaux, France
Classic Medoc from a family enterprise situated just north of Saint-Estèphe, achieving Cru Bourgeois status in 1993. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot; beautifully rich wine of fine structure with integrated oak along with touches of blackcurrant, plums and dark chocolate.
Zinfandel Old True Zin, Ca` Vittoria 2020
Puglia, Italy
Smooth, juicy Primitivo (called Zinfandel in the USA) is full of Southern Puglian character. The vineyards are based in Salento where the grapes can achieve early and full ripeness. With medium body, ripe, sun-blushed fruit, a touch of spice and soft velvety texture.
