About the Wines
Domaine Cavalier Blanc, Château de Lascaux 2019
From Château de Lascaux, based at Pic Saint-Loup in the Languedoc, the biodynamic Domaine Cavalier Blanc is produced from a blend of mainly Sauvignon, with a touch of Viognier, Roussanne and Marsanne. An aromatic wine, showing citrus fruits, including grapefruit and hints of garrigue. Full, round and fresh, with some tropical fruit and a touch of herbs on the finish.
Garnatxa Blanca, Herència Altés
Terra Alta, Spain
This Garnatxa Blanca is fresh on the palate with a penetrating freshness lifting the ripe peach, apricot and orchid notes. The wine spends two months on fine lees to gain texture and complexity which add an appealing, creamy texture to the mid-palate.
Chardonnay Turitelles, Domaine d`Altugnac 2018
A joy to drink, the Chardonnay Turitelles from Domaine d’Altugnac embodies all that is exciting about Limoux – quality, individuality and value. It bursts with white floral aromatics and a touch of citrus on the palate, followed by a concentrated and lingering finish.
Les Acacias Sauvignon Blanc, Domaine Guy Allion 2018
Fruit for this Acacias Sauvignon Blanc is picked at night to ensure optimal freshness. On the nose, the wine displays pronounced aromas of citrus fruits and white flowers characteristic of this variety. On the palate, the wine is supple and well balanced with good freshness throughout.
4 20 Pecorino, Torri Cantine 2019
Pecorino d’Abruzzo is often compared to Chablis due to its green apple flavours. This lip-smacking Pecorino by Cantini Torri from hillside vineyards along the Adriatic coast has a bouquet of summer flowers, ripe yellow fruits and an incredibly long mineral finish.
Verdejo El Convertido 2019
Castilla La Mancha, Spain
A beautiful glass of white form Spain’s La Mancha, this Verdejo is a notch above the rest. Made from 30 year old Verdejo vines, there is a concentration which is often missing from so many of its kind. A dry – yet fresh – palate with lovely floral aromas and peachy flavours, there is a roundness throughout.
