About the Wines
Decero Malbec Remolinos Single Vineyard, Finca Decero 2018
From the magnificent Remolinos Single Vineyard in the Agrelo district of Mendoza, this Malbec displays intense violet aromas over a core of red fruits with notes of cherries and raspberries and well-integrated oak. Well balanced with supple and elegant tannins that benefit from 14 months of maturation in French oak barrels.
The Parson Cabernet Sauvignon, Chapel Hill 2019
The Parson Cabernet Sauvignon displays expressive and alluring aromas of liquorice and mulberry. The wonderfully structured and eloquent palate is broodingly complexed by an array of persistent fine-grain tannins.
Macon-Villages Tradition, Domaine Des Deux Roches 2019
There`s something to be said for a wine you can rely on. Jean-Luc Terrier and Christian Collovray are a very dependable address consistently producing well made Mâcons. There is a floral note followed by yellow fruits – think peach and apricot – and a subtle, pastry-like richness.
Sauvignon Blanc, Cederberg Private Cellar 2020
Early morning hand picking when its still cool and dry in February means that the grapes of retain as much freshness and flavour as possible. Skilful winemaking unleashes the potential of these grapes and produces the Cederberg Sauvignon Blanc, a punchy wine with gooseberries, asparagus and a hint of melon on the nose. A rigid acidity lifts the wine and makes it the perfect accompaniment to shellfish.
Blanco Fermentado Barrica, Finca Nueva 2018
Yellow golden colour, with greenish shades. Powerful and creamy aromas of exotic fruits (pineapple and maracuya) with nuances of custard, toasted. In mouth it is oily with volume, pleasant and creamy. Soft and powerful.
Dehesa Gago Tinta de Toro, Telmo Rodriguez 2019
Blackish purple colour, aromas of eucalyptus and black fruits prevail. In the mouth, the medium-bodied palate belies the wine’s dark appearance; as fresh flavours of mint, currant and pomegranate highlight the palate. The finish is long and slightly grippy
